Autograph letter signed regarding the death of Dinesen, September 1962, written to MOMA publisher Monroe Wheeler, reporting "it was such a terrible shock to read of her death in the paper yesterday, as it was only two weeks ago that I went to see her in Rungsted. I took a lot of pictures of her and thought you and Glenway might like to have this last souvenir of her."
