Group of 58 finely bound volumes. Most 20th century, various imprints. All but ten or so are in three-quarters of full morocco by Bayntun-Riviere, a diverse range of colors and spine toolings. Most 7 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches (19 x 13 cm), a few a little larger or smaller; various paginations. Generally bright, fresh condition, with the bookplate of Lewis Edward Pierce.
Mostly 20th century printings of standard authors are represented, with some popular works. Burton's Anatomy of America, Shirer's Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, the short stories of O. Henry and Dumas The Count of Monte Cristo are all represented, as well as more esoteric works such as The Shooter's Bible Cookbook. An eclectic but very well-bound mix.
