The right margin trimmed just within plate mark, the left margin trimmed close, the lower margin extended with a strip of old paper affixed to verso, some faint spots and small chips.
A rare world map from a singular polar projection with interesting engraved vignettes. Here California is depicted as an island, Australia is connected to New Guinea, and mythical lakes are presented in South America.
