Celeste Holm's red morocco scrapbook for She Stoops to Conquer, 1949-50. Red morocco album by Alpha with slipcase, gilt lettered on spine with Ms. Holm's character name "Kate Hardcastle", 15 x 11 inches. A few minor scratches and bumps, the first album with several items detached and with glue residue.
Celeste Holm's finely bound scrapbook for She Stoops to Conquer, a play which brought Ms. Holm back to New York between Hollywood films. The scrapbook for includes Ms. Holm's annotated script, numerous reviews and playbills, an autograph letter to Ms. Holm from artistic supervisor Maurice Evans, about fifteen production photographs in various sizes, and Ms. Holm's initialed contract for the show.
