Publisher's pictorial boards with photographic image. 6 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches (17 x 13.25 cm); 126 pp., illustrated throughout after photographs of Dali by Halsman. Slight wear to binding.
The full-page drawing in this volume is very delicately rendered. The inscription (which also includes drawn elements) is to John Perona, proprietor of the legendary nightclub El Morocco, at which Dali was a frequent guest. It reads "Pour John/Perona/un ambasadeur a el/Moroco [sic]/Mexique d/Ailleurs avec l'amitie de/tout que [...] de son ami/Dali."
