Here Alma Hitchcock reports to Ms. Holm that daughter Pat arrived safe in England and "I must tell you one thing said - Hitch told her to go round to the American Embassy about some papers, and she replied she would do it immediately as she was just dying to hear and American voice again! I can't imagine how she'll feel after three months." Alfred Hitchcock and Pat arrived in England in early 1948 for the filming of Stage Fright, in which Pat was featured in her film debut.
