Exciting opportunities abound for seasoned bidders and new collectors alike in this popular sale category.

Will Barnett
Highlighting the sale was a drawing in pencil and crayon, Study for the Blue Robe, by Will Barnett (1911-1962) that soared past its $2,000-3,000 estimate to achieve $18,900. With a career spanning over eight decades, Will Barnet focused on representational work with clean, flattened graphics often depicting serene, enigmatic scenes. From 1962, Study for the Blue Robe is representative of Barnet's new direction, employing figures that are carefully balanced, with unique form and motion.
