A Portfolio of Domjan Color Woodcuts. New York: The Print Club, 1970. Six loose prints, each signed and numbered 3/25 by the artist in pencil, depicting the Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World. 27 1/2 inches. Includes an Aubusson tapestry, designed by Domjan and handwoven in the Atelier Andraud Pere et Fils, housed behind a plexiglass window on top of the portfolio case. Yellowing to plastic sleeves containing prints, separation to one edge of portfolio case.
Domjan provided the illustrations for the Limited Editions Club edition of Creasey's Battles. These six prints are based on his illustrations for the LEC publication of that work. The Print Club was an offshoot of the LEC.
