A very attractive map of lands in the Estate of Anthony Lispenard (1739-1806), showing the intersection of Canal Street and Broadway. Most names on the streets remain the same today, except Canal-in-Chapel Street, later made an extension of Church Street, and Sugar Loaf Street, which would be named for Benjamin Franklin in 1816.
