Here Rodgers thanks Ms. Holm for her "opening night wire to Oscar and me. The play seems to be in very healthy condition and I think we have a considerable hit." The opening was for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Allegro, a mixed success following Carousel and Oklahoma!, followed up by South Pacific.
