The Ritz Club pattern was designed by famed French designer Jean Boggio and made by Maison Haviland for the legendary Hotel Ritz Paris. This sophisticated and iconic pattern, one of three designed by Boggio for the Hotel Ritz Paris's entire tableware collection (the other iconic patterns being the Marthe Ritz Paris and the Ritz Imperial) takes its inspiration from France's most famous monarch, Louis XIV, the Sun King (le Roi Soleil). The dramatic and elegant design features a bright golden sun and rays of the sun in gold leaf.

Generally good condition overall; some wear and rubbing to gilding of pieces with center sunburst; light wear from use, but gilding otherwise appears to be generally good
