A descriptive bibliography of the books printed at the Ashendene Press MDCCCXCV-MCMXXXV. Shelley House, Chelsea: Ashendene Press, 1910. One of 390 paper copies, the entire edition, signed by Hornby on the colophon leaf. The issue binding of rich brown calf; the upper cover plain but for the Press's mark in gilt, 5 false bands on spine, housed in the original marbled slipcase. 13 inches (33 cm), top edge gilt. 4 ff., 172 pp., printed in red and black, with the errata slip laid in. Profusely illustrated, with facsimiles of leaves from many Ashendene books, an original leaf from the rejected Japan vellum edition of Daphnis and Chloe, photographs of bindings, specimens of wood engravings and initial letters, etc. A few minor marks to the covers, but a most attractive copy.
