Provenance:
each plate appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, i.e., no apparent rim chips, hairline cracks, staining, glaze crazing, etc.; each central medallion appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, i.e., no significant losses to the enamel decoration; the plates are currently dirty and would benefit from cleaning; it is presumed that the plates will clean up nicely, i.e., that they are not permanently stained; the turquoise borders and the black rim edges appear to be in generally good, intact condition, i.e, no significant losses to the enameling; some plates have some knife scratch marks to their centers, commensurate with some usage
