Bishop copy. In full crushed brown levant morocco by Michel Ritter, gilt rules and ornaments, red leather onlays, red leather spine label, top edge gilt, gilt dentelles and marbled endpapers, silk ribbon. 6 3/8 x 3 5/8 inches (16.25 x 9 cm); xvii, [3], 116, [6] pp., half title, etched frontispiece by Guillaumot fils, with an additional frontispiece printed on silk. Light wear to spine and edges, with a small spot of rubbing at the head of the joints, both of which are starting, front hinge cracked but sound, contents clean and bright, bookplate of Cortland F. Bishop.
