Newtown: Gregynog Press, 1931. One of 500 copies, of which this is one of possibly as many as 16 copies bound in 1952 at the National Library of Wales, this copy number 23. Two volumes bound as one, full chestnut levant morocco, covers with Grecian figures (from the Gregynog tools, which the Library held), surrounded by a frame of multiple gilt rules; unsigned but executed by John Bowen after George Fisher's design. 14 3/4 inches (37 cm); binding 15 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches (39 x 26 cm), top edge gilt. xii pp. including title-page, 269; 263 pp., with colophons on the reverse of the final page. Illustrated with wood-engravings throughout. Housed in the original oak case.
According to Harrop's bibliography (item 18), which discusses this version, only 9 copies were bound contemporaneously. Zilverdistel 18 mentions (p. 263) several alternative accounts of the publishing history of the special issue, though the matter remains somewhat obscure.
