First edition in monthly parts, 20 numbers in 19 parts, with most first issue points, original pictorial wrappers, housed in a red morocco backed box. 8 7/8 x 5 1/2 inches (23 x 14.5 cm); 40 engraved plates, text with "visitor" for "sister" on p. 123, p. 160 with "letter" corrected, most parts collating as per Hatton & Cleaver except part 1 with only a 6 pp. Advertiser, part III lacks Amesbury Supports ad, and part VIII lacks Tyas ad. A very good set with some repairs and rebacking, some minor wear, spotting to plates, a few signatures to wrappers.
