A very attractive set indeed, apparently unopened and untouched, both cases and books in brilliant fresh condition.
This splendid publishing achievement, which made all of Sir Winston Churchill's works readily available, was offered in a variety of bindings. The vellum-bound edition, the least expensive form, is commonly encountered, but the sets in morocco, especially in the preferred red version, are very rarely offered at auction or elsewhere.
