Boston & New York, Houghton Mifflin & Co., 1905-1906. The first one of 650, the second 600 sets. Eight volumes in total, bound uniformly in publisher's three-quarters green morocco, spines gilt, marbled sides. 10 3/4 inches (27 cm). Frontispieces in colored and uncolored states, illustrations throughout on Japan paper, all protected by printed tissue guards. Some light wear, spines faded to a uniform rich brown, still a very attractive set. Bookplate.
