Autograph musical quotation, two bars in treble and bass clefs, signed and inscribed (ironically) "transcription pour les petites mains!/J. Massenet 1878." * A photo portrait inscribed by Massenet and an eight line autograph letter, signed, by Charles Gounod. The quotation and the portrait have both been poorly matted at an early date, but are still in relatively attractive condition.
