Three-quarters morocco, marbled sides, by Pawson & Nicholson, with their stamp on the front free endpaper. 12 inches (31 cm). Engraved frontispiece, xxix, 182 pp., with two illustrations on India paper (Washington & Arnold) one of which is a bank-note vignette by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Some binding wear, minor marginal restoration at foot of title.
This is the first reprint of the very rare 1780 publication of the court-martial proceedings against Arnold. It is extremely well printed (on fine paper) by Joel Munsell.
