CLEVELAND, GROVER A Defense of Fishermen.
Princeton, New Jersey: privately printed, 1902. First edition, one of 60 copies, this with a slip with Cleveland's letterhead affixed the the front pastedown, inscribed "And the Ladies sometimes fish. Grover Cleveland. Feb. 25, 1908." Publisher's gilt-stamped green cloth. 9 1/2 x 6 3/8 inches (24 x 16 cm); [6], 15, [7] pp.; photographic frontispiece of Cleveland fishing, vignette of fish on title in red. Some bubbling to the cloth, light edgewear, in all a very good copy.
This reprints an article first appearing in the Saturday Evening Post. Bruns C-123.
