Additional Notes & Condition Report

Appears to be in generally good condition, however, the following condition issues were noted: there is a small elliptical shaped shallow burst air bubble, located along the top interior rim edge that can be felt and feels somewhat sharp to the touch, in the making, and therefore not of great consequence; the top interior rim edge is beveled, apparently, as made by the factory; the interior is generally nice and clean; the exterior frosted finish is in generally good condition, however, there are some areas with very faint or superficial scuffing, nothing of any real consequence; no apparent hairline cracks, nicks, chips, or other noteworthy condition issues to the bas-relief nude female figures or the rim edges of the stylized pouring water motifs, with perhaps just a few fleabite-size nicks, if any, to the water rim edges; the circular foot is slightly out-of-round in one area and appears somewhat flat or straight, and may be "as made," however, it is also possible there was previously a small chip or flake loss that was subsequently professionally ground and polished away; this slightly indented area is not readily discernible, for instance, it becomes more readily apparent when the vase is inverted and is examined from the underside; there are some scratch marks on the underside of the vase, consistent with age and usage; the opalescence is nice and uniform throughout

Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Doyle New York shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
