Additional Notes & Condition Report

Shade: Appears to be in generally good, sturdy condition; shade appears to be "in the round"; shade is nice and tight; there does not appear to be any evidence or indication of restoration, replacement or losses to any of the individual glass segments; there are cracks to several of the glass segments, notably, to the large pressed glass leaf segments but also to other glass segments, including some of the segments around the bottom border; the decorative metal beaded trim around the lower edge of the shade appears to be in good condition

Base: Appears to be in generally good condition; there are some areas with traces of old flake losses to the patina as well as some rubbing, faint scuff marks, soiling, etc., to the patina, not of any consequence; there is a nice uniform chocolate brown patina with some traces of green patination, notably, in the crevices of the rose blossoms and rose buds along the outer edge of the domed foot; the light sockets and pull chains appear to be old and possibly original to the lamp; each socket appears to be in good working condition; the cap appears to be original to the lamp and in generally good condition, however, there is evidence of breaks and subsequent restoration to at least two of the stems; there is protective green felt fabric affixed to the underside of the base with a cutout area so as to show the maker's mark; retains a cloth electric cord, which is probably a later replacement
