Pearls: slighty silvery white to slightly creamy, faint rose and green orient, freeform drop-shapes, slightly uneven texture, minor bubbles and light scratches, one pearl with minor chip at base, varied luster, stronger near tops, pleasant.
Hooks added later. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.

Highlighting the sale was a pair of Antique natural pearl and diamond pendant-earrings that achieved $25,200, many times their $3,000-5,000 estimate. The pearls were well-matched and displayed a lovely color, which greatly added to their allure.
