Join us in East Hampton for a book signing with photographer and author Shana Novak in celebration of her book, The Heirloomist: 100 Treasures and the Stories They Tell. The book signing will take place on Friday, July 12 from 6pm – 8pm at the Preview Party for the East Hampton Antiques & Design Show. A raffle of two original photographs by Shana Novak will benefit the East Hampton Historical Society.
The Heirloomist: 100 Treasures and the Stories They Tell (Chronicle Books) showcases a collection of keepsakes belonging to cultural icons and everyday folks alike, all carrying one common thread: the objects are treasured for deeply personal and often surprising reasons. Their corresponding stories range from romantic to wistful, from hilarious to powerfully affecting. Through Shana Novak's heartfelt writing style and gift with a camera, every belonging comes to life on the page as a unique work of art. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event, or email shana@theheirloomist.com
