Wendy Goodman: May I Come In?

Wendy Goodman: May I Come In?

NEW YORK, NY -- Join us on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 6:30pm for a slide presentation and book signing reception with author and design editor Wendy Goodman in celebration of her new book, May I Come In? (Abrams).

Over a career spanning 30 years, Wendy Goodman has discovered an astonishing array of private houses notable for their character, personality and flair. In her latest book, May I Come In?, she invites us into 70 homes that capture and express their owners’ spirit and passions. Every room has a story to tell, from Amy Sedaris’ playroom (not for children) to artist Kathy Ruttenberg’s animal kingdom to photographer Jay Maisel’s home in a former bank. May I Come In? is an irresistible visual record of the art of living by one of its most astute observers.

The author of The World of Gloria Vanderbilt and coauthor, with Hutton Wilkinson, of Tony Duquette, Wendy Goodman has been New York magazine’s design editor since 2007.

The event will take place at Doyle, 175 East 87th Street. It is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
