The Full Circle Modern buy-it-now sale closes at DoyleAtHome.com on Monday, February 1 at 2pm EST. The countdown has begun!
Doyle is delighted to offer a dedicated sale of Modern Design in partnership with Brooklyn-based dealer Full Circle Modern on our buy-it-now platform at DoyleAtHome.com.
Full Circle Modern was started by longtime friends and collectors Barry Rice and Roger Ward, whose quest to discover new and under-appreciated 20th-century design led them both to more furnishings than they could fit in their homes. From their pursuit of treasures came Full Circle Modern. While they began with a modest number of pieces from their personal collections, the store quickly grew its inventory of carefully vetted and beautifully restored pieces that reflect the very best in mid-century design.
Full Circle Modern is known for its embrace of exuberant 1970s style, and the January sale features a full roster of the most-sought-after designers from that period, including furniture by Paul Evans, Karl Springer, Vladimir Kagan, Milo Baughman, Phillip and Kelvin Laverne; lighting by Gaetano Sciolari, Carlo Nason, and Robert Sonneman; and accessories by Marcello Fantoni, Tommi Parzinger and Piero Fornasetti, among many others. Standout pieces include a very rare Le Dome dining table in smoked acrylic by Charles Hollis Jones; a “Venus Contemplating” wall plaque by Phillip and Kelvin Laverne; and a burl walnut and brass coffee table by Ico Parisi for Singer and Sons.
With price points ranging from $150 to $25,000, this sale presents an opportunity for new and experienced collectors alike to take advantage of Full Circle Modern’s discerning taste. Find compelling prices on a full range of furniture, complemented by a large selection of lighting, mirrors, art and accessories.
