Estate and Appraisal Services

Lindsey Denise Friedman, Esq. is a member of the Estate and Appraisal Services Department at Doyle. She assists in all aspects of coordinating fair market value appraisals and works closely with attorneys and clients to provide appraisals for estate tax purposes, estate planning and family distribution.  Lindsey also consults on legal issues that arise in the auction setting. Prior to joining Doyle, Lindsey was a fellow at the Lawyers’ Committee for Cultural Heritage Preservation.

Lindsey was educated at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and received her Master of Arts Degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London. She is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York. During law school, she interned with the Art Law Group at Herrick, Feinstein LLP.

Lindsey is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Art Law Committee, the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Law Committee, the American Bar Association’s Section on Real Property, Trusts & Estates Law, the Estate Planning Council of New York City, and the UJA Federation Young Lawyers Committee and Trusts & Estates Committee.
