Join us as our New Collectors Series celebrates the joy of collecting! In this ongoing series of connoisseurship presentations, Doyle’s Specialists share their expertise in various areas of collecting.

Collecting Maps with Peter Costanzo / Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30pm

Specialist Peter Costanzo will chronicle the history of maps from early Dutch, French and English cartography to depictions of New York City spanning three centuries, including Bernard Ratzer’s famous 1776 Plan of the City of New York in North America and Egbert L. Viele’s 1865 The Topography and Hydrology of New York, the most identifiable 19th century map of Manhattan.
