Coins, Bank Notes & Postage Stamps

Doyle holds semiannual auctions of Coins, Bank Notes and Postage Stamps. These sales feature United States and World coins, bank notes, and stamps, including many rarities. United States material in these sales comprises a wide assortment from early coins and bank notes and Territorial examples through the 20th century.

Numismatists from around the world converged at Doyle for the sale of Coins, Medals and Bank Notes from the Estate of Samuel Mills Damon of Honolulu, Hawaii. A son of a 19th century missionary, Mr. Damon became a prominent banker. His extensive collection comprised rare coins and bank notes from the Kingdom of Hawaii and nations around the world.

Coins, bank notes and stamps are also offered three times each year in auctions by order of the Provident Loan Society and in select jewelry sales that feature property from abandoned safe deposit boxes by order of various banks.
