This work depicts Dave's Corner Luncheonette, which was a 24-hour diner located at the corner of Canal Street and Broadway. Dave's Corner was a popular spot for both local denizens as well as patrons of the nearby Mudd Club. Martin Wong presented this work as a wedding gift in 1980 to the current owners.
