William Ault & Co. Glazed Art Nouveau Ceramic Vase with Fish Masks
Model no. 457, design attributed to Christopher Dresser, late 19th/early 20th century
Of flattened globular form, with an irregular rim, decorated on either side with a green colored molded fish mask, against a textured brown ground, signed with company's raised urn-form symbol. Height 6 6/8 inches, width 6 inches.

appears to be in generally good condition; there are a few scattered small flake losses to the glazed surface, notably, to one side of the fish's "mustache" fin, not of great consequence; there are a few paint splatters located to the interior side of the vase and a few other minor splatter spots on the exterior side, not of great consequence (and can probably be easily removed); not black lighted
