Emile Gallé Art Nouveau Gilt and Enameled Faience Footed Jardiniere
Circa 1900
In the Chinese style, of circular form, decorated one one side with reserves depicting pine boughs and pinecones, in bas relief, and on the other side with yellow flowering stems and leaves, against a brown ground, heightened with gilt, inscribed E.G. with the Cross of Lorraine, depose, and signed E. Gallé Nancy in underglaze. Height 11 1/4 inches, width 16 inches.
