Pair of Chelsea Porcelain Animalier Candlesticks
Circa 1756
Each modeled with an opposing recumbent goat on a mound base before a flower tree-stump, the candle nozzle as a tulip blossom issuing from overlapping everted leaves forming the drip-pan, the nozzles enriched in gilt. Height 8 1/2 inches (21.6 cm).
