Circa 1759, blue interlaced L's enclosing the date letter F, painter's mark of three dots for Tandart, jeune, the saucer with potter's incised pt, the cup incised FR
Of tapering conical form with gilt enriched entwined vine handle, finely painted with floral garlands and blue scrolls, on a conforming lobed saucer, gilt dentil rims. Height of cup 2 1/2 inches (6 cm), diameter of saucer 5 1/4 inches (13.1 cm).
Charles Tandart, jeune, was recorded as a painter at Sèvres active 1755-1760.
