Of tapering conical form with loop handle, the front painted with a vignette of a blue bird among flowers and branches. Height 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm).
François Joseph Aloncle was recorded as a painter of birds, animals and emblems at Sèvres active 1758-1781.
