Sèvres Porcelain Oeil-de-Perdrix Ground Coffee-Can and Saucer (Gobelet Litron et sa Soucoupe)
Circa 1761, blue interlaced L's mark enclosing the date letter H, painter mark of a hatchet for Rosset, gilder's LF and potter's incised L to saucer
Painted with a pastoral views within gilt cisele surrounds, draped with a floral garland, the red and blue oil-de-perdrix border interrupted by flower oval reserves, gilt line rims
Height of cup 2 3/8 inches (6 cm), diameter of saucer 5 inches (12.6 cm).
Pierre Joseph Rosset was a painter at Sèvres active 1753-1795.
