Circa 1755, partial blue interlaced L's mark and painter's H for Houry, incised script potter's marks perhaps Cg
Finely painted with four bouquets, each within a gilt ciselé floral cartouches, gilt dentil rim. Diameter 8 1/2 inches (22.5 cm), square.

Pierre Houry was recorded as a model repairer at Vincennes 1746 - 1754 and as a painter of flowers active 1755.
