Pair of Continental Neoclassical Cobalt-Blue and Gilt Decorated Reticulated Oval Baskets and Stands
Impressed C (17)94, incised 5, attributed to Vienna
The pierced trellis enriched with green garlands and purple berries, the gilt rim enriched with cobalt-blue strapwork, each conforming stand with a raised emplacement enriched with a gilt foliate band. Width of bowl 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm), width of stand 12 inches (30.5 cm).
