Contemporary three-quarter leather backed marbled boards. 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (14 x 9 cm); 188 pp. The hinges cracked and boards nearly reattached, other rubbing and small losses to binding, faint old dampstaining with tideline throughout.
The first New Hampshire printing of Jefferson's manual, the first American book on parliamentary procedure, and one of just three books authored by Jefferson. First published in Washington in 1801, Sabin records various editions through 1850, and this is likely the 4th edition. Sabin 35887
