A pair of soft black and brown leather boots with side zippers, both signed in black ink by Lin-Manuel Miranda on the brown leather. Height 19 inches. A few scuffs but a highly attractive and presentable pair.
A FINE SIGNED PAIR OF LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA'S STAGE WORN BOOTS FROM HAMILTON: AN AMERICAN MUSICAL - THE MOST IMPORTANT MUSICAL OF THE 21st CENTURY. An instant sensation, Hamilton premiered at the Public Theater on 17 February 2015 with the lead role of Alexander Hamilton played by the multi-talented lyricist, composer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda. In August 2015, Hamilton moved to the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway playing to sold out audiences for months. Winner of eight Drama Desk Awards, the show also won 11 Tony Awards on 16 nominations including Best Musical, and in 2016, the highest honor came when Hamilton was honored with the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The present boots, made for Broadway by T.O. Dey, were stage worn on Broadway by Lin-Manuel Miranda and again when he reprised the role in Puerto Rico. Bringing American history to life in an unprecedented manner, Hamilton is the most important and influential contribution to musical theater in recent history.
