Large size Silver medal, approximately 2220 grains, diameter 75.75mm, rims 3.2-3.6mm thick, attractive example, signed FURST F. Obverse exhibits a very subtle 1837 Grafitti mark. Attractive example with proof like surfaces, typical edge marks and testing spots, the medal has been holed and is accompanied by a plain silver chain, presented in a custom case noting the use of these Peace medals and designated as from the Joan E. Dreher collection of 1951, with copies of the purchase agreement of 1950, overall a Very Fine example.
