Wax relined. There is a 3 1/2 x 3 inch area of inpainting above the figures behind Saint John. Scattered spots of inpainting in other areas throughout, mostly concentrated at center left. Visible stretcher bar impressions, mostly at right. Craquelure throughout. Wear and a few small losses near some edges.
