[AMERICAN REVOLUTION] BURGOYNE, JOHN. A State of the Expedition from Canada, as laid before the House of Commons.
London: printed for J. Almon, 1780. Stated second edition. Modern three quarters brown morocco over marbled boards. 8 1/2 x 5 inches (21.5 x 13 cm); 191, i-cix pp., with the engraved large folding map at front and 5 folding engraved battle-plans (two with overslips), all by William Faden and partially hand-colored, one folding chart in the text. An old dampstain affects the first part of the text and map, other spotting and stray stains, the large map with a short tear at mount, two of the plans with small repairs on the versos.
