Early three-quarters cloth over marbled boards, the spine gilt decorated at tips and with a tan morocco lettering label gilt. 10 x 6 1/4 inches (25 x 16 cm); , 182 pp., the title lithographed, the score fully engraved. The lettering label chipped and the spine tips, corners and extremities rubbed, some chips and stains to the marbled boards, the title leaf spotted and with remnant of wrapper along gutter, some toning and spotting to first and last leaves of the score, the rear hinge cracked.
The finely engraved first complete score of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, perhaps the most recognizable music ever written.
