NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle was pleased to hold a second session of the Asian art sale this season! The successful auction of Asian Works of Art: Session II took place on September 24, 2021. Showcased were the arts of China, Japan and Southeast Asia from prominent estates and collections across the country.
With competitive bidding, the sale totaled a $376,821, surpassing the pre-sale estimate of $247,750-369,050.
Highlighting the sale were a pair of Qing dynasty blue and white porcelain Rouleau vases that attracted determined bidders. Estimated at $1,000-2,000, the vases achieved a stunning $47,250.
