The intricately-carved box decorated at sides to show panels of scholarly treasures against a dense floral scroll; the top panel carved to show Shoulao and an attendant viewing immortals astride a phoenix from a garden terrace; four-character Yaochi Baohe mark to underside of cover Height 8 1/4 inches, diameter 11 inches
