Additional Notes & Condition Report

Glue-relined. Along the top edge at the center and along the edge at the lower right there is some inpainting. There are also a few scattered touches in background. In the sitter's earlobe there are a few touches of inpaint as well, these are no bigger that pin pricks. The area around the sitter's hand shows up a bit dark under UV light. This may be due to the presence of old varnish. The work has isolated areas of craquelure. Stretcher bar marks are visible in raking light.
