In the late 1950's, Jean Schlumberger was invited to design for Tiffany & Co., creating whimsical and surrealist pieces, incorporating natural and organic forms in his work. This iconic design was originally created in the 1960's for the Tiffany Yellow cushion-cut diamond of 128.50 cts.
