Book by Joseph Stein ... based on Shalom Aleichem's stories, 1964. short tear and abrasion to jacket panel, else generally fine; DAVIES, VALENTINE. Miracle on 34th Street, 1947, small losses to jacket spine, else fine; ANDERSON, MAXWELL. Key Largo, stated first printing, 1939, a very fine copy with only minute jacket wear; BURNETT, W.R. High Sierra, 1940, stated first edition, some staining to endleaves and an ink inscription at end, small losses to jacket and old dampstaining, an attractive copy despite; MILLER, HENRY. Tropic of Cancer, 1961, first Grove Press edition, stated first printing, spotting and some creases to jacket; CRICHTON, MICHAEL. The Andromeda Strain, 1969, stated first edition of the author's first book, the jacket fine, the volume with an old dampstain; McMURTRY, LARRY. The Last Picture Show, 1966, stated first printing, stain to fore-edge, small chip to head of spine, a sound copy; and Terms of Endearment, 1975, signed by McMurtry, lightly toned.
